03. INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

06. FEE PAYMENTS

  • Pay tuition fees according to payment schedule
  • Outstanding fees may affect access to results and official documents
  • Extension requests must be made PRIOR to due date with supporting evidence
  • Late payment penalties apply

09. MAINTAIN YOUR ENROLLMENT

1. Attendance: Minimum 80%

Sign in/out required - no signature = no attendance

2. Course Progress: Pass minimum 50% of units per term

The above are bare-minimum requirements to maintain your enrolment. However, if you are only passing 50% of your course, then you will require additional fees, enrolment extension to complete your course.

  • Unit Competency: Must be Satisfactory in ALL Assessment Tasks
  • Assessment Score: Must attain 100% (competency-based training)
  • Multiple Tasks: If 3 assessments in unit = pass all 3

  • Re-assessment: Re-sitting specific assessment task (practical/theory/online)
  • Redo: Repeating entire unit duration due to attendance or progress issues

Step 2: Notice of Intention to Cancel - after 2 consecutive poor periods

1st Warning: Formal record of breach

Final Warning: May result in suspension/cancellation

Immediate Action: Serious breaches = immediate suspension/cancellation

Improper Behavior Serious Misconduct
Consuming alcohol on premises Carrying weapons or dangerous articles
Persistent disruptive behavior Physical assault or threatening behavior
Verbally abusive behavior Criminal behavior (reported to authorities)
Smoking or illegal substances Theft from staff or students
Misuse of Institute property Arson or malicious damage
Discriminatory behavior Harassment (verbal, sexual, or otherwise)
