Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis

The Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis provides the knowledge and skills to perform advanced diagnostic operations for light vehicles.

You will learn how to diagnose complex faults in light vehicle petrol engines, electronic spark ignition engine management systems and braking systems. Furthermore, you learn  to produce estimates for repairs and monitor environmental best practice in an automotive workplace.

Upon completion of course, you will be a qualified Mechanic with more competitive skill sets.

  • During the course, if student defaults from Semester Payment Plan or change to Quarterly Payment Plan, the difference tuition fee amount is applied as the penalty.

Entrance Requirements

  • Completion of Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology AND
  • Age of 18 years or over and completed senior high school equivalent to Australian Year 10 level AND
  • IELTS score of 5.5 each band (general or academic) OR
  • TOEIC 605 (L&R), TOEFL 513 (PBT), TOEFL 183 (CBT), TOEFL 65 (IBT)
